Feeling in the Anthropocene with Dr. Brooke Kuhnhausen

Join us for a conversation with Dr. Brooke Kuhnhausen on the inner work of being a climate activist. We will cover topics such as climate grief and vulnerability and explore how we can each find our unique place in the climate movement.

Brooke Kuhnhausen is a licensed psychologist in Oregon. She has worked in university and community settings and teaches and supervises in various graduate programs in counseling. She takes an integrative approach in her practice, incorporating relational, mind-body, and trauma-informed care. Dr. Kuhnhausen works with adults and young adults, offering both individual and couples counseling rooted in attachment and systems theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), concentrating on healing relational bonds that lead to deeper connection and safety. Her areas of specialization include relationship issues, grief, identity development, family-of-origin issues, depression and anxiety, and spiritual development and care. She also likes to work with people around flourishing, vocation, creativity, and finding their voice. In her free time, Dr. Kuhnhausen loves adventures around the Northwest, music and the arts, and spending time with family.
