Transforming Entrances: The Power of Nature-Inspired Lobby Art

First impressions matter. In museums, public buildings, offices, hotels, and cultural institutions, the lobby sets the tone — it welcomes, guides, and inspires. That’s why lobby art has the potential to be so much more than decorative: it can be transformational.

My nature-inspired lobby artworks are designed to do just that — to turn transitional spaces into immersive, layered environments that speak to beauty, biodiversity, and story.

Large-scale lobby artwork by Clare Celeste Börsch featuring layered botanical collage and printed aluminum elements designed to transform public space

Digitally Designed. Flexible Construction and Installation. Built for Scale.

Each work begins with a custom design, created in Photoshop to scale, and tailored to the unique dimensions and purpose of your lobby. This process allows me to collaborate closely with clients and architects to visualize the final piece before it’s ever installed — a vital part of working at architectural scale.

From there, the sky’s the limit. My lobby artworks can be created in a range of materials, including:

  • Printed and laser-cut aluminum

  • Layered collage elements in high-res digital print

  • Transparent or translucent substrates

  • Backlit panels or integrated lighting

  • Vinyl, fabric, or archival paper depending on permanence and style

The result is an artwork that doesn’t just fill a space — it transforms it.

Coming Soon: A 15-Foot Lobby Commission in 2027

In 2027, I’ll be revealing one of my largest lobby works to date — a 15-foot-wide, layered aluminum wall piece designed to bring color, form, and nature into a large public space. I can’t wait to share more soon.

This project represents everything I love about creating art for architecture: collaboration, scale, and the opportunity to make everyday spaces feel extraordinary.

Let’s Bring Nature into Your Lobby

Whether you’re curating a new hotel experience, refreshing a corporate entrance, or designing a space that needs a unique point of connection — I’d love to work with you. Together, we can create a site-specific artwork that welcomes visitors with wonder.
